Pods are now an established technique for constructing kitchens, bathrooms, washrooms and shower rooms.
Pods are often used where there are a large number of repetitive bathroom layouts, such as hotels, student accommodation, and military barracks.
Pods may be constructed from a wide range of primary technologies including; concrete, steel, timber or glass reinforced plastic.
Apollo Offsite has worked with pod manufacturers across all of these technology types - both in the UK and abroad - where the ability of adhesives and sealants to bond a wide range of dissimilar materials has enabled greater design flexibility and material mix.
Using adhesives in their manufacture ensures that the fully furnished Pod endures the demands of transportation to site.
